Manchester United compete with five clubs for Rafael Leao this summer

Summary

Manchester United is pursuing Serie A player Rafael Leao, aiming to enhance their squad ahead of next season. Manager Michael Carrick secured Champions League qualification, with midfield and left winger as key focus areas in the transfer market. United faces competition from Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Newcastle United for the 26-year-old forward. Leao has been a standout performer for AC Milan since joining in 2019, totaling 80 goals and 65 assists in 291 appearances. The lack of Champions League football for Milan may prompt a sale, as Leao has two years remaining on his contract.
