Manchester United confident amid Tottenham's interest in Mateus Fernandes
Summary

Manchester United is optimistic about securing a deal for West Ham United star Mateus Fernandes despite Tottenham Hotspur's growing interest. United has focused on Fernandes after a different target, Elliot Anderson, was deemed too costly by Nottingham Forest. With West Ham relegated, the club’s valuation of around £85 million has drawn attention from several top teams, including Arsenal and Liverpool. Tottenham has also entered the race, with reports suggesting they are close to personal terms with Fernandes as they aim to revamp their midfield. United, however, remains confident they lead the pursuit for Fernandes’s signature.
