Manchester United confirms loan moves for senior and academy players

Manchester United has confirmed the loan departures of several players across the men's senior, academy, and women's teams for the 2026/27 season. Senior goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has moved to Celta Vigo to pursue regular playing time, while Andre Onana has extended his loan agreement with Trabzonspor. Several academy prospects have also secured temporary moves, including Dan Gore to Luton Town, Ethan Wheatley to Lincoln City, and Chido Obi to Dutch club Willem II. Additional academy players sent on loan include Solomon Honor, Sekou Kone, Elyh Harrison, Jacob Devaney, Jayce Fitzgerald, and Jack Moorhouse. In the women's squad, goalkeepers Kayla Rendell and Safia Middleton-Patel have joined Newcastle and Watford respectively following the arrival of Janina Leitzig. The club intends to monitor these players throughout the current campaign.
