Manchester United considers Kone and Baleba for midfield reinforcements

Summary

Manchester United is exploring potential additions to its midfield this summer, targeting Manu Kone from Roma and Carlos Baleba from Brighton. With a significant reshaping of the squad already underway, United aims to secure a third midfielder after acquiring Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos for £85 million. The club is looking for a balance of experience and dynamic play, weighing Kone's World Cup performance against Baleba's potential despite recent struggles. Although no official contact has occurred for either player, the club remains in a flexible position regarding negotiations and valuations.
