Manchester United discusses hiring Antonio Conte to replace Michael Carrick
Summary

Manchester United is in talks with Antonio Conte to fill the managerial vacancy left by Michael Carrick. Conte, 57, is reportedly in the process of reaching an agreement with the club. Carrick has faced challenges this season, with United gaining only six points from their first six matches and sitting 13th in the Premier League standings. The team recently settled for a 1-1 draw against Tottenham after conceding a last-minute equalizer. United’s leadership has supported Carrick, but may reconsider if performances do not improve in the coming matches, including upcoming fixtures against Atletico Madrid and Leeds United.
