Manchester United eye Jules Kounde for January transfer

Manchester United is reportedly pursuing a move for Barcelona defender Jules Kounde ahead of the January transfer window. The interest comes as Michael Carrick aims to bolster his defensive lineup, with Kounde potentially open to leaving Barcelona due to reduced playing time this season. Barcelona values Kounde at €60 million, complicating negotiations, especially as United weighs the financial commitment against his ability to enhance the squad. Other Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea are also monitoring Kounde's situation, indicating competitive interest as the transfer window approaches.
