Manchester United faces challenges in pursuit of Carlos Baleba

Summary

Manchester United is encountering difficulties in acquiring Carlos Baleba as a replacement for Casemiro. Despite previous interest, the club has stepped away due to Brighton & Hove Albion's £100 million valuation, which has not decreased despite Baleba's struggles last season. With other midfield targets also falling off the board, United may need to explore lower-cost alternatives, including Tyler Adams and Sander Berge, or look beyond the Premier League altogether. The situation remains fluid as United continues their search for a suitable addition to their midfield.
