Manchester United saw a deadline day deal for Leicester City teenager Louis Page collapse after the two clubs failed to reach an agreement. United reportedly pursued a transfer valued at over £10 million for the 18-year-old, with plans to loan him back to Leicester for the current season. Leicester sought between £12 million and £15 million for the player. Arsenal also engaged in talks with Page over the summer, but the midfielder preferred a move to Manchester United. Page remains at Leicester City, where he made 21 appearances last season and has featured five times in the current campaign. With Leicester currently in League One, further interest in Page is expected during the January transfer window.
