Manchester United forward Gabriele Biancheri joins FC Wacker Innsbruck

Manchester United has confirmed the permanent transfer of academy forward Gabriele Biancheri to Austrian second division club FC Wacker Innsbruck. The deal was completed on September 3, two days after the primary English transfer window closed, due to the later deadline in the Austrian league. The 19-year-old Welsh Under-21 international joins the side following a loan spell at Rotherham United last season. During his time in the United academy, Biancheri scored 26 goals in 40 games for the Under-18 squad and recorded eight goals for the Under-21 team. The move is intended to provide the forward with consistent playing time to continue his professional development. Manchester United retains the potential to include future financial clauses as part of the permanent agreement.
