Manchester United has loaned goalkeeper Altay Bayindir to Celta Vigo for the 2026/27 season. Bayindir, who joined United in the summer of 2023, struggled to secure a starting position, falling behind Andre Onana and later Karl Darlow in the hierarchy. With the arrival of Darlow this summer, Bayindir became surplus to requirements and will now look to gain more playing time in La Liga. Celta Vigo emerged as the preferred destination for the Turkish international as United sought to find him a loan move.
