Manchester United may target Adrien Truffert for transfer in 2027

Manchester United remains in the market for a long-term successor to left-back Luke Shaw. Despite failing to secure reinforcements at the position during the recent window, the club continues to monitor potential targets. Journalist David Ornstein suggested that Bournemouth defender Adrien Truffert could be available for a transfer fee of approximately £60 million next year. Truffert started 38 Premier League games for Bournemouth last season, recording one goal and five assists. Manchester United previously evaluated several options for the position, including Lewis Hall, Alejandro Balde, David Raum, and Jorge Salinas, but opted not to sign a new left-back this summer. The club is expected to reassess its defensive options as Shaw approaches the final year of his current contract.
