Manchester United is reportedly considering a renewed pursuit of Newcastle United defender Lewis Hall. The Premier League side failed to secure the 21-year-old during the recently concluded summer transfer window. Hall remains under contract at St. James’ Park until the summer of 2029, potentially complicating any future negotiation for a transfer. During the previous season, Hall recorded one goal and two assists across 47 appearances for Newcastle United in all competitions. His versatility allows him to play as a left-back, central midfielder, or a wide player on the left flank. Michael Carrick could look to bolster his backline by adding the English defender to compete with Luke Shaw for a first-team position in the future.
