Manchester United opts to keep Joshua Zirkzee amid Juventus interest

Summary

Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester United is willing to retain Joshua Zirkzee despite Juventus showing interest in securing his services. The Dutch forward has garnered attention following strong pre-season performances, though United is hesitant to agree to a loan deal without an obligation to buy. This stance reflects a shift in the club's perception of Zirkzee, who is appreciated by manager Michael Carrick for his abilities. Given United's increased schedule this season, Zirkzee may see more playing time. Juventus would need to offload a striker to facilitate a potential transfer.
