Manchester United is exploring options to replace Casemiro, who left a significant gap in the midfield. United has focused on Ayyoub Bouaddi following unsuccessful attempts to sign other targets like Elliot Anderson and Sandro Tonali. Lille is seeking £86 million for Bouaddi, although the price may decrease if a loan back to Lille for a year is included. Manchester City is also interested in Bouaddi, potentially complicating United's pursuit.
- •Casemiro's departure has left a void in United's midfield.
- •United's attempts to sign Tonali and Anderson fell through.
- •Lille demands £86 million for Bouaddi, potentially lower with a loan back.
- •City shows interest, positioning themselves as rivals for Bouaddi.
- •United has only signed Ederson from Atalanta so far.
