Manchester United pursue Manu Kone amid Tchouameni setback
Summary

Manchester United have shifted their focus to AS Roma midfielder Manu Kone after failing to sign Aurelien Tchouameni. United viewed Tchouameni as their top target, but he has signed an extension with Real Madrid. Reports indicate that Kone has emerged as a viable option, with United making inquiries and Roma open to offers around €50m. Kone's performances with the French national team during the World Cup have bolstered his reputation, drawing United's interest as they seek midfield reinforcements this summer. Kone is expected to undergo medical tests in England soon, as his transfer situation develops.
