Manchester United finalized a £35 million transfer for midfielder Ederson from Atalanta. The deal was agreed earlier this month, with Ederson expected to bolster United's midfield ahead of the new season. He has scored 16 goals in 180 appearances for Atalanta and has made three appearances for the Brazil national team. Despite being initially excluded from Brazil's final World Cup squad, there is potential for him to feature due to an injury to another player. This transfer is seen as part of United's strategy to enhance their squad depth without overspending on multiple high-priced players.
