Manchester United signs Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa for £36m

Manchester United has finalized the signing of midfielder Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa for £36 million. The 29-year-old Belgian has signed a five-year contract following his departure from Villa, where he made 134 appearances and scored 10 goals. Tielemans joins United after an impressive stint at Aston Villa, including winning the Europa League last season. Prior to joining Villa in 2023, he was with Leicester City and won the FA Cup and Community Shield. United has also signed Andrey Santos from Chelsea earlier this summer for £50 million.
