Manchester United targets Alejandro Balde for left-back position this summer

Manchester United is pursuing Alejandro Balde from Barcelona as part of their search for a new left-back. The 22-year-old defender, who is viewed as a long-term solution, has caught the club's attention due to his experience and potential for growth. While Barcelona does not actively want to sell Balde, they are open to evaluating offers. This situation could influence Barcelona’s own transfer plans for strengthening their defense, with Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso also on their radar. United's recruitment has focused on finding a young, international player for this role.
