Manchester United have officially ended their pursuit of 17-year-old Mexican forward Gilberto Mora, following six months of scouting. Although United initially prioritized Mora, concerns about a potential bidding war against rivals, including Manchester City and Chelsea, led to their decision. The Tijuana player has begun to attract significant interest after his performances in the World Cup. United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe decided against entering a bidding contest, especially as Mora recently signed a long-term deal with Tijuana that includes a £20 million buy-out clause.
