Manchester United women rising while men struggle early this season

Summary

Manchester United's men's and women's teams have experienced contrasting fortunes this season. The men, under Michael Carrick, sit 13th in the league with only two wins in 11 matches, reflecting a disappointing start after qualifying for the Champions League last season. In contrast, Eva Olid's women's team has rebounded from a poor opening with a six-game winning streak, including a recent 5-3 victory over Liverpool. With the women's team showing tactical clarity and effective youth integration, the disparity between the two squads highlights ongoing challenges for the men's side.
