Manchester United's women's team is under increased scrutiny following the departure of manager Marc Skinner. The team finished fourth in the Women's Super League last season, but the club has faced criticism for insufficient investment since turning professional in 2018. Issues include quiet transfer windows, high-profile player departures, and inadequate training facilities. With only one major trophy secured in eight years, questions arise about the club's commitment to the women's side. The team has lost key players this summer, and tensions have surfaced regarding how the team is perceived compared to other Women's Super League clubs.
