(Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC) A high stakes women’s flyweight matchup is set for September. Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that Manon Fiorot faces former champion Alexa Grasso at Noche UFC. The event goes down Sept. 12 and is expected to take place in Glendale, Ariz. Heavy first reported the booking. Fiorot competed in her first UFC title fight at UFC 315 in May 2025 after a 7-0 start in the promotion. Fiorot dropped a competitive decision to current champ Valentina Shevchenko in the bout. The No. 2 ranked flyweight in MMA Fighting’s Global Rankings bounced back in a big way with a 74 second stoppage of Jasmine Jasudavicius at UFC Vancouver this past October. Grasso entered 2026 winless in her past three fights, including a title loss to Shevchenko, and a decision loss to Natalia Silva at UFC 315. Grasso certainly sent a reminder to the MMA community at UFC Seattle as she delivered one of the most vicious finishes in UFC history against Maycee Barber in March.
