Mansfield Town seeks availability of Roberts and Abbott for FA Cup match

Summary

Mansfield Town manager Nigel Clough is optimistic about the availability of striker Tyler Roberts and midfielder George Abbott for their FA Cup fixture against Macclesfield on Saturday. Roberts missed the recent draw with Wigan Athletic due to a rib issue, while Abbott is recovering from a hip injury sustained in a previous match. Clough expressed the importance of a strong squad after their recent exertions. Macclesfield, currently noted for its significant upset in last year's FA Cup, poses a distinct challenge as they sit well below Mansfield in the football league hierarchy.
