Kansas City Chiefs rookie defensive back Mansoor Delane demonstrated noticeable recovery progress at practice on August 13, 2026. He was no longer wearing the yellow 'no contact' jersey and participated in the non-contact 10-10-10 period. Delane is returning from a shoulder blade injury sustained during OTAs and has been dealt with cautiously by the coaching staff. The Chiefs are preparing for their preseason opener against the Los Angeles Rams. Delane previously earned First Team All-SEC honors at LSU and was a unanimous All-American.
