Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling reopens Can-Am Dojo as MLP Academy

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling is relaunching the former Can-Am Dojo in Windsor, Ontario, under the new name MLP Academy. The promotion announced that AEW wrestler Josh Alexander will serve as the school's head coach, while Scott D'Amore has been appointed as general manager. The facility, which spans 4,000 square feet, is scheduled to open in October. The training program will cover in-ring techniques, promo skills, and brand development for both beginner and advanced students. Trainees will also gain experience through regular showcase events hosted by the school. Historically, the location served as a training ground for professional wrestlers including Rhino, Eric Young, Petey Williams, Bobby Roode, Moose, and the Motor City Machine Guns.
