Mariners make roster moves after acquiring Taylor Ward and Seranthony Dominguez

The Seattle Mariners announced multiple roster changes following the acquisition of outfielder Taylor Ward from the Baltimore Orioles and right-hander Seranthony Dominguez from the Chicago White Sox. As part of these moves, the team reinstated infielder-outfielder Brendan Donovan from the injured list and recalled catcher Jhonny Pereda from Triple-A Tacoma. To make room, the Mariners released catcher Mitch Garver and outfielder Rob Refsnyder while designating Stuart Fairchild for assignment. Ward, who leads the American League in walks, has played 111 games this season, while Dominguez is under contract through 2027 and has recorded a 4.10 ERA this year.
