Mariners place Victor Robles on bereavement list and move Brennen Davis to IL

The Seattle Mariners announced on September 3 that outfielder Victor Robles has been placed on the family medical emergency list. Robles is currently in the Dominican Republic and will be away from the team for up to three days. To address roster needs, the organization recalled Stuart Fairchild from Triple-A Tacoma. Additionally, outfielder Brennen Davis was placed on the 60-day injured list. Davis, who has been sidelined all season due to a hamstring strain, suffered an oblique injury setback during training. While he will remain on the major league payroll for the rest of the year, his season is officially over. Fairchild is expected to join the club once he completes travel from Albuquerque, providing Seattle with defensive depth and outfield coverage for the interim period.
