Mark Hughes' son Alex dies from sudden adult death syndrome

Alex Hughes, son of former footballer Mark Hughes, passed away at his home in Macclesfield, Cheshire, on June 19. The 38-year-old was found collapsed by his two sons and could not be revived. A coroner confirmed the cause of death as sudden adult death syndrome (SADS), which affects about 500 people in the UK annually.
