Mark Johnson loses top salary spot among NCAA women's hockey coaches

Mark Johnson, coach of the Wisconsin Badgers women's hockey team, is no longer the highest paid coach in NCAA women's hockey. Ohio State's Nadine Muzerall recently signed a contract worth $555,000, surpassing Johnson's salary of $550,000 for the 2025-26 season. Despite winning the last two National Championships against the Buckeyes, Johnson's contract extension includes an annual $25,000 raise, bringing his salary to $575,000 starting July 1. Muzerall's salary remains unchanged for the time being.
