Mark McKenzie, a Delaware native and defender, is expected to return to the Philadelphia Union from Toulouse in France's Ligue 1 in January. The transfer fee is estimated at $2.5 million. McKenzie, who has made 30 appearances for the U.S. men’s national team including at the 2026 World Cup, began his professional career with the Union. He continues with Toulouse until the winter transfer window. The move will allow him to participate in the upcoming Major League Soccer season beginning in summer 2026.
