Mark Taylor and T.J. Oshie to skate for UND this season

Former University of North Dakota (UND) hockey players Mark Taylor and T.J. Oshie will skate as part of the 'One More Shift' promotion this season. Taylor, who captained the 1980 NCAA championship team, will take the ice on October 17 against Bentley, while Oshie, who won the Stanley Cup in 2018, will skate on January 15 before a game against St. Thomas. This initiative brings back former student-athletes to honor their contributions and has seen UND succeed with a 9-1 record in games following these appearances. Both players had distinguished careers at UND, with Taylor tallying 265 points and Oshie reaching three consecutive NCAA Frozen Fours before moving on to successful NHL careers.
