Marley and Igharo advance to European Boxing quarter-finals

Jack Marley secured his spot in the quarter-finals of the European Boxing Championships with a split decision victory over Aryan Panah Saed in Sofia. Marley won the contest 3-2 and will face Georgia's Georgii Kushitashvli next. Evelyn Igharo also advanced, winning her debut match against Aryna Danilchyk of Belarus by unanimous decision. Igharo's next opponent will be Commonwealth Games silver medallist Chantelle Reid.
