Marlins rely on Sandy Alcantara to end eight-game losing streak

Summary

The Miami Marlins are looking to halt their eight-game losing streak as they face the Houston Astros. Sandy Alcantara, who is making his 22nd start of the season, aims for a franchise-record quality start. In his last outing, Alcantara recorded his 15th quality start this season, allowing one run over seven innings against the Milwaukee Brewers. Despite their struggles, the Marlins have hit home runs in six consecutive games and have the National League All-Star Otto Lopez leading MLB in hits.
