Marquette volleyball earns two 3-0 victories to open Big East season

Marquette volleyball improved to 7-5 on the season and 2-0 in Big East play with consecutive sweeps against UConn and Providence. The Golden Eagles defeated UConn in straight sets on September 26, winning 25-22, 25-17, and 25-15. In their next match, they prevailed over Providence with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, and 25-23. Carson Tyler led Marquette with 13 kills against UConn. Following these results, they are positioned first in the conference, pending outcomes of other matches on September 27.
