Marquette volleyball prepares for matches against Dayton and Wright State

Marquette volleyball faces RV Dayton on August 28 at Frericks Center in Dayton, Ohio. The Golden Eagles are coming off a close 3-2 loss to #2 Texas, highlighting challenges with consistency due to a lineup featuring five returning players and three freshmen. Marquette holds a historical 10-22 record against Dayton, winning five of the last six matches. Dayton, beginning its season, finished 23-7 last year but missed the NCAA tournament after a loss in the Atlantic 10 semifinals. Following the match against Dayton, Marquette will compete against Wright State on the same weekend.
