Marseille prioritizes player sales before strengthening squad under Genesio

Olympique de Marseille is focusing on player sales before making new signings this summer, as financial constraints imposed by the DNCG continue to affect the club. Newly appointed manager Bruno Genesio's transfer window will primarily involve offloading players to cut the wage bill, which currently exceeds €160 million. Marseille aims to reduce this figure below €100 million, prompting the sporting director Grégory Lorenzi to circulate a list of players for potential sales. Among those available are Ulisses Garcia, Amine Harit, Neal Maupay, Geoffrey Kondogbia, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has attracted interest from various leagues, including Turkey and MLS.
