Martin O'Neill to remain as Celtic manager for another season

Martin O'Neill is set to continue as Celtic's manager on a one-year deal after successfully guiding the team to a Premiership title and Scottish Cup victory. O'Neill, who returned to the role in January, oversaw Celtic's 3-1 win over Dunfermline in the cup final and secured the league title by beating Hearts on the final day. The 74-year-old's contract includes an option for an additional year, following discussions with club shareholder Dermot Desmond. Celtic has not yet officially confirmed the appointment but recognizes the potential impact on their Champions League campaign. O'Neill previously completed a temporary stint, marking 27 wins in 35 games this season.
