Martina McIntyre sets to compete at Hyrox World Championships in Sweden

Martina McIntyre, a 60-year-old fitness instructor from Luton, is set to compete in the Hyrox World Championships starting Thursday in Stockholm, Sweden. McIntyre gained entry after winning her age category in an earlier event at Olympia in London, where she completed the course in one hour and 23 minutes. Having trained intensely since retiring as a midwife in 2020, she has embraced a new career in fitness and is excited yet nervous about the upcoming competition. This event features eight 1km running legs paired with various workout stations.
