Maryland offers ticket promotion ahead of Illinois matchup

Maryland is implementing a buy-one, get-two-free ticket promotion for their upcoming game against Illinois on Saturday. The initiative aims to improve attendance at SECU Stadium as the Terrapins struggle this season with a record of 2-5 and an 0-4 mark in Big Ten play. Following the firing of head coach Mike Locksley and a recent twelve-game conference losing streak, interim head coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim will lead the team in his debut. Additionally, Maryland incentivizes student attendance by offering a chance to win free tuition for the spring semester if they stay through the fourth quarter of the game.
