Maryland sweeps Seton Hall in tournament opener at the Pavilion

Maryland women’s volleyball secured a straight-set victory over Seton Hall at the Pavilion on September 11. Despite trailing early in the first set, the Terps rallied to win 25-21, 25-18, 25-10. Freshman Ava Brown led a defensive effort at the net, recording multiple blocks alongside Duru Gökçen to limit the Pirates' scoring opportunities. Graduate student Haley Melby contributed key serves and finished with nine kills to anchor the offense. The match served as the opening game of the Maryland Volleyball tournament for the Terps. Maryland moves on to face Princeton in its next match of the tournament.
