Maryvale dominates North Canyon in key 4A football matchup

Maryvale football achieved a decisive 49-13 victory over North Canyon on October 2, improving to 5-1 this season. The win positions Maryvale favorably for a possible postseason berth as they lead from start to finish in the dominant performance. Freshman running back Dionte Brandon and senior Miles Woods played key roles, with Woods contributing a touchdown and two interceptions. With recent struggles in the Phoenix Union High School District, this victory marks a significant turnaround for the Maryvale program. The Panthers are set for remaining games against lower-ranked opponents, bolstering their playoff chances.
