Mason Awe from Three Rivers named Male Athlete of the Year

Mason Awe, a graduate from Three Rivers High School, has received the 2026 Corky Emrick & Tom Mielcarek Male Athlete of the Year award. Awe, recognized for his athletic performance and academic achievements, plans to continue his football career at Kalamazoo College this fall while also potentially playing baseball. Despite a significant knee injury that kept him from playing football his junior year, Awe made a successful return to the field, aiding the Wildcats in reaching the MHSAA playoffs.
