Mathis Nayral has been selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2026 MLB Draft, going No. 402 overall. The junior right-handed pitcher from Kansas finished his season with a 4.96 ERA and 71 strikeouts over 69 innings. Nayral is the fourth player from Kansas to be drafted this year. He previously played at Cochise College and contributed to the Jayhawks' successful season, which included the Big 12 titles and a run in the NCAA tournament.
