Matt Bush and Amy Truesdale earn silver at Muju World Grand Prix

Great Britain athletes Matt Bush and Amy Truesdale secured silver medals at the 2026 World Taekwondo Para Grand Prix in Muju, South Korea. Bush fell to Russia's Aliaskhab Ramazanov in the men's K44 +80kg final after the match reached tie-breaks decided by back kick counts. Truesdale lost the women's K44 +65kg final to Guljonoy Naimova of Uzbekistan in two straight rounds. While Truesdale led both rounds late, Naimova rallied to secure the victory and reverse the result of their previous Paralympic final. Elsewhere in the tournament, British competitor Joseph Lane exited the K44 men's -80kg bracket following a 2-1 quarter-final defeat to Luis Mario Najera of Mexico. Both Bush and Truesdale reached the podium after navigating several rounds of competition against international opposition in the South Korean tournament.
