Matteo Cancellieri draws interest from four Serie A clubs

Summary

Lazio winger Matteo Cancellieri is reportedly attracting attention from four Serie A clubs ahead of the transfer deadline. The 24-year-old has struggled to find consistent playing time since joining Lazio in 2022 and has had two loan spells at Empoli and Parma. Recently, he started matches in both the Coppa Italia and Serie A but was substituted in one for Gustav Isaksen, who is expected to be a key player for Lazio. Parma, along with Fiorentina, Bologna, and Genoa, are understood to be interested in acquiring Cancellieri, with a potential transfer fee of around €4 million discussed for a permanent deal. Developments in this situation are anticipated as the deadline approaches.
