Matthew Hawn aims for starting role with Syracuse in 2026

Syracuse Orange offensive lineman Matthew Hawn is positioned to compete for a starting job as the 2026 season approaches. The local player, a redshirt freshman at 6'6” and 310 lbs., appeared for just one snap last season against Miami but has impressed coaches during the offseason. Syracuse head coach Fran Brown has highlighted Hawn's potential as he transitions to camp, where he will likely challenge for a role on the offensive line.
