Matthew Stafford earns first career Madden 99 rating with Rams

Matthew Stafford has been named to the exclusive Madden NFL 2027 ‘99 Club’ after being awarded a perfect rating for the first time in his career. This achievement follows a standout MVP season in which Stafford led the NFL with 4,707 passing yards and 46 touchdowns. At 38 years old, this marks a significant milestone in his 18-year career, previously never exceeding a rating of 91. Stafford joins teammate Myles Garrett, providing the Los Angeles Rams with two current members of the ‘99 Club’ and marking the first time an NFL roster features both the league’s MVP and Defensive Player of the Year. The Rams have now had four players in franchise history achieve a 99 overall rating.
