Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy recently characterized starting pitcher Tarik Skubal as a relaxed presence in the clubhouse. Despite the intensity Skubal displays on the mound, Muncy noted that the left-hander often cracks jokes with teammates between innings on his start days. The Dodgers acquired the two-time reigning American League Cy Young Award winner from the Detroit Tigers on August 2. In his first seven appearances with Los Angeles, Skubal has recorded a 2.93 ERA with 48 strikeouts across 43 innings. The team, currently leading the National League West with an 88-57 record, aims to complete a three-game sweep of the Cincinnati Reds in Wednesday's series finale. Skubal joins a rotation that already includes Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Blake Snell, and Tyler Glasnow as the club pursues a third consecutive World Series title.
