Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing has shared details about a knee injury sustained in a crash during Q3 of Austrian Grand Prix qualifying. After starting from P5 and finishing second in the race, he described the pain from hitting his knees in the crash as 'not nice.' Verstappen indicated that a loss of downforce led to his spin out, which occurred at a high speed in the penultimate corner. Red Bull Racing team principal Laurent Mekies acknowledged that the team takes full responsibility for the incident. Verstappen's comments came during a post-race interview with David Coulthard.
