Maya World to face Mercedes Mone in Owen Hart Cup final

Maya World will challenge Mercedes Mone at Forbidden Door for the Women's Owen Hart Cup title. World advanced by defeating ROH Women's World Champion Athena after entering the tournament as a replacement. Mone earned her spot in the final after wins over Alex Windsor and Hazuki during AEW Dynamite. Another match announced for Forbidden Door includes PAC against Shota Umino for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship. Additionally, Tommaso Ciampa will face Chris Jericho at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break on July 8 in Clearwater, Florida.
